# Sirfus > Sirfus. Where the ask meets the answer. For the person asking: "Say what you need. One real pro answers." Ask once, get one verified local pro, not a list; free, always. For the business or vendor: "Be found by the people already looking for you." List free, get chosen, pay only when the job is confirmed done. Sirfus (https://sirfus.com) covers any local business: 114 categories in 15 groups (trades, professionals, creatives, shops). A person describes what they need (for example "roof repair in Tampa" or "wedding photographer in Denver") and Sirfus routes that one request to one verified local vendor in that category and city. Sirfus is not a directory and never sells one request to several vendors. Operated by AI Lead Strategies LLC. Contact: hello@sirfus.com. Machine-readable descriptor: https://sirfus.com/.well-known/sirfus.json Full detail: https://sirfus.com/llms-full.txt ## What Sirfus is - A request form plus a matching system, not a listing site. Pros are never listed publicly for browsing. - Each request is matched by category (one of 114) and location to one real, local vendor who offers that service. - The matched provider contacts the requester directly. The requester chooses whether to work with them. - Powered by NEXUS OS lead intelligence (AI Lead Strategies LLC). ## Who it is for - Homeowners and renters who need a local trade or home service done. - Small businesses that need a local provider (commercial cleaning, agencies, IT, accounting, legal, facilities). - Local vendors of any kind: tradespeople, professionals, creatives and shops, especially new or one-person businesses, who need customers but have no website, marketing budget, or appetite for per-lead fees. ## How it works for homeowners 1. Describe the job and the city at https://sirfus.com/local.html (about ten seconds, no account). 2. Leave an email or phone number and consent to be contacted. 3. One verified local pro in that category reaches out. Free, forever, no bidding, no spam. ## How it works for pros and vendors 1. Sirfus brings a real request to a vendor in the matching category and city. Vendors do not pay to be found. 2. The first jobs are free. 3. After that, a pro pays only when the homeowner confirms the job was completed. No payment for leads that did not become jobs. ## For pros and vendors: sign up Vendors of any kind sign up at https://sirfus.com/pro/ (English and Spanish, works on a phone). Listed = name, business name, a mobile number confirmed by text code, up to 5 categories (searchable picker over all 114), service area (city, state, radius), consent to receive job texts, and acceptance of the Provider Agreement v1. Verified badge depends on the category tier: tier 1 (licensed work such as roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, med spa, attorneys) = license where the state requires it plus proof of insurance plus an ID check; tier 2 = varies by state and category; tier 3 (most shops, creatives, consultants) = ID check only. It is never required to get jobs, but verified vendors rank higher. Sirfus never sells a pro's information. One job goes to one pro. Job requests arrive by text; the pro replies YES plus the job code to take one, PAUSE / RESUME to pause or restart, STOP to end. First jobs are free; after that a pro pays only when the homeowner confirms the job is done. ## What Sirfus never does - Charge homeowners. - Send one request to more than one pro at a time. One job, one pro. - Charge a pro for a contact that did not reach them as a real, consenting person. - Rank or favor pros by how much they pay. No bidding, no pay-to-rank. - Publish a browsable directory of pros. - Buy consumer ads for demand it has no pro to serve. ## Categories covered (114 categories in 15 groups) The full list with slugs, keywords and tiers is at https://sirfus.com/tools/categories.json. The endpoint requires query, location and category, plus at least one of email or phone, and explicit consent. The current endpoint URL is published in https://sirfus.com/.well-known/sirfus.json. ## Demand API (for software, agencies, and AI assistants) Sirfus exposes its open, consented local demand through a keyed REST API at https://fulfilling-dedication-production-3242.up.railway.app/api/sirfus/v1 (OpenAPI: https://sirfus.com/openapi.json). The sirfus.com/api/sirfus/v1 paths redirect there; send the key to the direct URL. Lists are redacted; a homeowner's name, phone, and email are released only when a subscriber claims a request, and the first claim wins. Subscribers can register HMAC-signed webhooks for new demand, push requests in, and report outcomes. Keys: hello@sirfus.com. The OpenAPI document is also served at https://sirfus.com/openapi.json. ## MCP server (how to connect) {#mcp} Sirfus runs a Model Context Protocol server with eight tools: sirfus_request_pro (ask for one verified local pro for a person; free, needs what they need, city and state, and a phone or email they consent to), sirfus_search (find vendors by category and city), sirfus_list_demand and sirfus_get_demand (open requests, redacted), sirfus_claim_demand (releases the contact once; first claim wins), sirfus_report_outcome, sirfus_my_claims, and sirfus_trades (every category with slugs and keywords). - HTTP: POST JSON-RPC 2.0 to https://fulfilling-dedication-production-3242.up.railway.app/api/sirfus/mcp. - No key needed to help a person: sirfus_request_pro, sirfus_search and sirfus_trades work without an Authorization header (rate-limited per caller). An assistant can find a pro for someone right now. The demand tools (sirfus_list_demand, sirfus_get_demand, sirfus_claim_demand, sirfus_report_outcome, sirfus_my_claims) need "Authorization: Bearer ". - https://sirfus.com/mcp redirects (307) to that URL for discovery, but HTTP clients drop the Authorization header on a cross-host redirect, so configure the direct URL in your client. - stdio: node backend/scripts/sirfus-mcp.js from the LeadGenius1/nexus-os repository, with SIRFUS_API_KEY in the environment. - Keys use the same sk_sirfus_ format as the Demand API, and the same rule applies to the REST API: call https://fulfilling-dedication-production-3242.up.railway.app/api/sirfus/v1 directly; the sirfus.com paths redirect. Ask for a key at hello@sirfus.com. - Full machine-readable detail, including the tool list and both endpoints: https://sirfus.com/.well-known/sirfus.json Example: {"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/list"} returns the eight tools above. ## The engine What runs the match. NEXUS OS is built with Claude by Anthropic and names every tool it uses. - Understands the request (Jev by TypeSafe, Claude by Anthropic): reads the ask in plain words, picks the category, and judges whether a business fits before anyone gets a text. - Finds, reaches, charges (Google Places, Overture Maps, state license records, Firecrawl web search, Twilio, ZeroBounce, Stripe): finds businesses on Google Places, in Overture Maps open data, state contractor license records and the open web when no one is listed yet, texts a verified phone, verifies every email before a send, and charges a fee only on a confirmed job. - Discoverable by AI assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot, MCP server): Sirfus publishes llms.txt, structured data and an MCP server, so a person who asks an assistant for a pro can be handed to one verified pro. Anthropic, Claude, OpenAI, ChatGPT, Google, Gemini, Perplexity, Microsoft, Copilot, Google Maps Platform, Overture Maps Foundation, Firecrawl, Twilio, ZeroBounce, Stripe and TypeSafe are trademarks of their respective owners. Listing them describes what the engine uses and what can read it, not endorsement. ## AI Sirfus is built with Claude by Anthropic. Sirfus is discoverable by AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot) through this file, structured data, and an open MCP server; businesses are found on Google Places, in Overture Maps open data, state contractor license records and the open web (Firecrawl), and business judgments use Jev by TypeSafe. These names describe compatibility, not endorsement.
